unable to add or select event. hence unable to submit new publication as it enforces event

Hi David, I can imagine that it is annoying...  Sometimes all it takes is to restart your browser and try again. If that does not work, can you tell me which browser and version you are using? Try to avoid duplicate publication entries if you can.

Hi Joris, thanks. It did not work on Chrome Version 35.0.1916.153 m. So I tried the latest Opera and it worked there..
BTW, not sure what the m in the Chrome version means. But it is not mobile it is on Win 8/8.1
