Submit publication without file attached, incorrect error message

Ian O'Keeffe 13 jaar geleden bijgewerkt door Joris Vreeke 13 jaar geleden 0
When I try to submit a publication without attaching a file I get an error message saying that the upload destination folder is not writable. This is not the correct error message (assuming that it is required that a File is attached.

Publication Status

Anoniem 13 jaar geleden bijgewerkt door Joris Vreeke 12 jaar geleden 1
When I view the page for a publication the 'Status' is specified as "Not Accepted". It's not clear to me whether this means that it has not be accepted by the IP Committee or not accepted as a paper at the conference it was submitted to. In either case, is there also a 'pending' state?

Cannot update publication event

Wasala 12 jaar geleden 0
Created a publication titled "Data Mining on XLIFF standard" and edited it, and added an event titled "3rd international xliff symposium". However, cannot assign the publication to the created event, as the system always change the event to some random event (or the top most event?).So changed the publication type to abstract for the moment

Editorial/Review Activity. Description field too small, even for a single sentance

Anoniem 13 jaar geleden bijgewerkt door Joris Vreeke 13 jaar geleden 1
Having to scroll horizontally through the text entered as the description of the event (e.g. to check for typos before submitting) is awkward. Might be better to have a multiline text box.

This should be fixed in today's release.

lost input data on profile form checking fail

Those Two Girls 12 jaar geleden bijgewerkt door Joris Vreeke 12 jaar geleden 1
on profile page a fail on form entry check, e.g. too few characters in the phone number, causes all the other fields filled in to be annoyingly lost. Not expected form filling behaviour these days.

presentation link and date

Anoniem 13 jaar geleden bijgewerkt door Joris Vreeke 13 jaar geleden 1
Just uploaded a PDF presentation from VistaTEC event. I get an 'access forbidden' error when trying to click on the presentation link from the activity. The Dashboard also lists the presentation date as Jan 1st - even though I entered the event date as march 4th.

Sorry, the app was blocking .pptx files. Should be fine now, you just need to reupload your file.

Some fields aren't relevant depending on event type

John Tinsley 12 jaar geleden 0
For example, I add an FP7 meeting with a title "Pluto Meeting" with a description. This means the "Event Name" is obsolete. However, without filling in all fields in the "Event Name", I can't add a date for the meeting.

Also, events should have the option for a date RANGE as well as a single date

Hint messages might be too subtle, difficult to read small font

Anoniem 13 jaar geleden 0
Hint messages might be too subtle. Obviously they're not intended to be obtrusive but there is something about them that looks a little off to me. Maybe the transparency is okay and the font just needs to be increased

A meeting/presentation shouldn't require an 'Event name'

Good catch, we have made Event Name an optional field and noted it as such.

List of people not updated on public website

Joachim 11 jaar geleden bijgewerkt door Joris Vreeke 11 jaar geleden 3

Gabriel has been added to Labjam almost a week ago and is still missing on the public website. Either this is a bug or if some essential information was not provided in the profile, the Labjam interface should make this more clear.
