Viewing one's own publications, activities etc

Joachim 13 years ago updated by Joris Vreeke 13 years ago 4
It would be very useful to be able to restrict the view to just those entries relevant to oneself. For example, to maintain my list of publications, I need to be able to quickly see which ones are already in the system. Note that these are not just the publications I submitted to the system but all publications that I (co-)authored.

Yeah...the ability to filter what information is made public has been requested by a couple of folks.  Looking to include it in the next development cycle.
Interestingly, a list of one's own publication is shown after saving changes to one's profile ("update"), but not directly on any of the 3 pages "Personal Details", "University Details", "Research Details" under "my profile".
Hey Joachim, if you view your full profile you will be able to view all of the activities & publications attached to your account...click on the "Users" tab and then click "View Profile" by your name. All of your existing CNGL publications are in the system but there is a bug that isn't displaying them.  With that said all of your new stuff will show up under View Profile.

It's confusing to see different pages for "my profile" and for "view profile" next to my name in a list of names. I understand this comes from the idea to push people to complete their profile. Still, all information shown under "view profile" should also be visible under "my profile". For the moment, at least add a link "view profile, including my publications, activities etc.".
Also, the list under "view profile" shows only publications submitted by that person. For example, the publication that I entered into the system in co-authored with Ozlem (and others) but it does not appear in Ozlem's list.
