Ability to edit an Event

Ian O'Keeffe 13 years ago updated by Joris Vreeke 13 years ago 1
It is possible to edit Activities but not the events that they relate to. I've added an event with incorrect details but I have no way of changing it. To get around this I would have to create a new event but this would lead to a lot of incorrect events filling up the sytem

My Profile

Muhammad Javed 13 years ago updated by Joris Vreeke 13 years ago 2
once we click on My Profile, i assume it will show me my profile page, but it takes me direct the page where i can edit my profile page details.
I think My Profile link should take user to his own profile page and there must be a button EDIT which can take you to editing page, where you can edit the page.

Publications: ask for review of co-author list when marking as "accepted"

Joachim 11 years ago 0

I noticed that some co-author lists are incomplete in Labjam. This means that the respective profiles on the public website are missing publications, for example Sara's profile http://www.cngl.ie/profile/?i=208 shouldn't be empty, even though they appear on the full list http://www.cngl.ie/research/publications/ with correct list of authors. (In case of Sara, there are also publications missing completely, not just on her profile.)

Labjam should draw attention to the need to review the list of co-authors when a publication is marked as "accepted" along with the bibliographic entry being entered.

Those Two Girls 12 years ago updated by Joris Vreeke 12 years ago 1
note feedback from 'those two girls' was actually from dave L. registered via google, but someone else was logged in already on another tab.

I can't submit publication in Labjam

Joao Cabral 10 years ago 0
I filled all the fields and I attached the pdf file of the publication. But I get the error message: "The filetype you are attempting to upload is not allowed". The pdf file seems to be ok. I had similar problems in the past so it seems this problem hasn't been fixed yet. I would appreciate your support as soon as possible due to time constraints with the submission date. Thanks

User list should use first name as secondary sort key

Joachim 10 years ago 0

For example our 3 Dohertys should appear in the order Gavin, Kevin and Stephen. Applies to Labjam user list and to the A-Z on the public website.

You also need some 3rd level sort key for such cases as Ian O'Keefee (we've 2 in the database) to keep a stable order. This could just be the internal ID.

How can we change our profile name?

Ian O'Keeffe 13 years ago updated by Joris Vreeke 13 years ago 1
How can we change our profile name? I am the UL Ian O'Keeffe, and there is enough confusion as it is! I want to update to Ian R O'Keeffe as it makes tracking these feedback comments very difficult, I'd say (eh, Steve?).

You should now be able to edit this from your profile screen.

Adding activity

Anonymous 13 years ago updated by Joris Vreeke 13 years ago 0
Can't add an activity for a meeting because I must have at least one attendee! But there are no options for attendees in the drop-down list! (My own name should be there as an attendee at least?)

This seems to be working now. Can you confirm?
